About SanBar Designs

SanBar Designs was started by me, Sandy, and my friend Barb.
Dogs were always a passion of mine.
In the mid 1990’s I used to go to many herding and agility trials with my friend Bonnie. She had the coolest shirts with embroidered Border Collies on them and finally she told me that she made them! I was astounded. Turns out she had a home embroidery machine. She wouldn’t make anything for me, however, because, she said, it was just too much of a pain in the butt. Always babysitting the machine, all the expense of the multiple thread colors, all the time it took to change the threads.
Anyway, I was intrigued.
One thing led to another and my passion for this embroidery stuff wouldn’t die. Soon, I was learning all I could about it and investing all my time and money into it.
Soon, I bought an industrial machine, about 400 thread colors, and some designs.
Finally, in 2006 I decided to retire from my job in the pharmaceutical industry and do this business full time.
Since that time, my Dad had a mini-stroke. My folks are getting kind of up in years, (Mom, don’t be offended if you read his. I’ll make the font small so you can’t. Ha, ha.) and I’ve moved to northern Wisconsin to “watch out” for them.
It's now May of 2010. I have over 2000 dog design on the website. Recently, I've started adding rhinestone designs as well. I hope that you like what you see.
If you have any suggestions I'm open to them.
Update: November 2011. Still here, still pluggin' away. I wish it would warm up some. Looks like it's going to be a long and cold winter.

All orders that are sent via USPS are sent with Delivery Confirmation and you will be notified by email when it's sent.
You don't have to sign for it, but there's a tracking number that you can check!
