The French Bulldog (Bouledogue Français) is noted by it's bat ears. They come in a wide variety of colors, some of which are approved by organizations such as the AKC, and some are not. They are a sweet, active breed with a calm nature. Some notable owners of French Bulldogs are Toulouse-Lactrec, and King Edward VII.
